I’m visiting from out of town. Any recommendations for things to do?
We are delighted that you will be making the trip out to the Seattle area. This time of year in the Pacific Northwest is beautiful and we absolutely recommend coming out a few days early or staying a few extra days. Check out our “things to do” page for more recommendations on things we love in the area - from restaurants to activities!
Where should I stay? Is there a hotel block?
Stay wherever you like! Our venue is in Puyallup, about an hour drive south of Seattle. As long as you factor in the drive, there’s no bad option for your stay. We will not be reserving a hotel block.
Will transportation be provided?
There will be no communal transportation provided. Our venue has plentiful parking on-site, and we’re happy to coordinate rides for those traveling from out of town if getting a rental car puts the trip out of reach.
Will there be other events to attend during the wedding weekend?
Yes! We will be hosting a casual meet-and-greet event on Friday, June 27th. This will provide an opportunity for those traveling from out of town to come visit with us before the celebratory chaos of the wedding itself. Find more details at the link on our homepage.

Venue & Ceremony
Where is the ceremony? Cocktail hour? Reception?
Our wedding will take place at Farm 12 in Puyallup, WA. The ceremony will be held in one of the greenhouses and we anticipate lovely sunny weather. Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony on the patio outside the greenhouse entrance. Following cocktail hour, all guests will be invited into the event hall for dinner and the reception.
What time should I arrive?
Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 2:30 and make their way to the greenhouse for the ceremony. Please plan to arrive no later than 3pm.
What does parking look like?
Parking is plentiful at Farm 12 so no need to worry! The venue does operate a restaurant and café on the property daily so there will likely be mixed traffic as you arrive. For those that are mobility challenged, parking nearest the Fika café will provide the most direct access to the venue entrance.
Do you have a registry?
Yes! We have compiled our registry on Zola and you can find the details by clicking the Registry link in the menu.
What is the dress code?
Dress code is semi-formal, expecting sunny weather. Activities will be a mix of indoor and outdoor, so dress appropriately and do consider dancing in your attire. There is no expected color scheme for guests.
Will we be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour is planned to be outdoors, though there are overhangs should we need to use them as a rain contingency.
Is there a rainy day plan?
In the unfortunate event that it is rainy we will move our cocktail hour reception under the outdoor overhangs or potentially invite guests into the event hall early.
Are kids allowed to come?
As noted on the save-the-date cards, this will be an adults only wedding. While we love kids, excluding them from attendance helps us maximize our guest list. Babies on laps are welcome.
Can I bring a plus one?
When you RSVP, you will be asked to register for yourself and anyone else attached to you on the form. Only those listed in the RSVP portal or pre-added as plus ones are invited to attend. Our reception will have assigned seating and dinner will be served as plated entrées arranged in advance so we cannot accomodate any last minute additions.
What should I expect for food? What if I have allergies?
Food will be served as plated entrées and you will be able to make your selection as part of the RSVP process. If you have particular allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible so we can work with our caterer on accommodations.
Will there be drinks at the reception?
There will be an open bar beginning during cocktail hour and continuing for four hours with a brief closure during dinner service. Please consider bringing tips for our lovely bartenders!
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Yes! If purchased through the Zola portal all gifts will be shipped directly to us at the time of our choosing. Gifts and cards brought to the wedding are also welcome.
