We are so excited to celebrate with you on June 28th, but also recognize how busy a day the wedding can be! With so many family and friends traveling in from out of town, we want to set aside some time for a casual meet and greet where conversation and relaxing may be a little more possible.
If you're in town and available, please consider joining us at Seward Park on Friday, June 27th from 11-2 pm. Seward Park is one of our favorite parks in the city and we've reserved Picnic Shelter #2 for this time. The shelter is located at the south end of the park and has great views of Mount Rainier (see map below). The park is surrounded by Lake Washington, and while it may be a bit chilly, we’ll have our paddle boards out and open to use for anyone who would like to! In addition, there is plenty of green space and walking trails to enjoy. Parking can get a little hectic, especially on a nice day. Street parking in the surrounding areas and neighborhoods may be your best option, and if possible to carpool, we would highly recommend it.
Food will not be provided, so feel free to bring a picnic lunch or snacks. No activities scheduled or planned, just a casual time to be together. If you’re local, feel free to bring any of your own outdoor or park activities to share. No RSVP necessary.
